
Stingrays Extend Winning Streak with 4-1 Victory over Everblades

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays (6-2-0-0) pushed their winning streak to five games as they defeated the Florida Everblades (2-6-0-1) 4-1 on 2-for-1 Ticket Night at the North Charleston Coliseum Wednesday night.
Stingrays forward Billy Ryan kicked off the scoring 1:02 into the first period slipping a shot between the legs of Everblades goaltender Pat Nagle (L, 11 save on 15 shots). Defenseman Johann Kroll and forward Trent Campbell earned the assists on Ryan's second goal of the season.
The Everblades tied the contest early in the second period with a tally from forward Leigh Salters at 4:59 beating Stingrays keeper Philipp Grubauer (W, 24 saves on 25 shots) over the left pad. Forward Luc Tardif and defenseman Dominic D'Amour grabbed the assists. Ryan responded with his second of the night at 17:42 from forward Matt Pope and defenseman Paul Baier.
Forward Sean Dolan made it a 3-1 Stingrays advantage on the power play at 1:43 of the final period from Pope and defenseman Derek Keller. Stingrays forward Pierre-Luc O'Brien completed the game scoring with a breakaway goal at 16:29. Forward Danick Pacquette grabbed the lone assist. The Stingrays wrapped up the night going 1-for-5 on the power play while the Everblades finished 0-for-5. The Stingrays host the Everblades on Friday, November 4 at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum for Country Night and Canned Food Drive benefiting the Lowcountry Food Bank presented by Raising Cane's.
