South Carolina Stingrays News Release

N. Charleston, S.C. - Mark you calendar for the following dates in June as the South Carolina Stingrays head out into the community.

Thursday, June 7: It's summertime, which in Charleston means the beach. What better way to celebrate beach weather than a bikini contest? Join Steve Fraser, Vice President of Sales, and other members of the Stingrays front office at Hooters in North Charleston from 6:30 until 9 p.m.

Friday, June 8: For the second year in a row Cail MacLean will visit the campers at the Summerville YMCA at 9:30 a.m. to sign autographs and talk about his experiences with hockey. The Summerville YMCA is located at 900 Cross Creek in the Oakbrook area of Summerville.

Saturday, June 15: Join Cool Ray at the Belk in Summerville for the Lemonade Stand against M.S. from 1-3 p.m. The proceeds from every cup of lemonade sold will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mid-Atlantic Chapter, a nonprofit organization that serves all of South Carolina as well as 33 counties of North Carolina. The purpose of the MS lemonade stands is not just to raise money that will fund essential client programs and national research, but to raise awareness of multiple sclerosis in local communities.

Saturday, June 30: For today's Lemonade Stand against M.S. Matt Reid will be joining the volunteers at the Belk in Summerville from 1-3 p.m.
