There's still time to sign up for the Kernels Youth Baseball Camp for boys and girls ages 7-12. The camp begins on Thursday, June 19 and runs from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm each day through Saturday.
Each day of the camp, your child will receive on-field instruction from Kernels coaches and players and participate in drills designed to improve fundamental skills. Camp participants receive a Kernels Youth Baseball Camp T-shirt and are treated to a ballpark-style lunch each day. Plus, each participant receives four ticket coupons that can be exchanged for Plaza tickets at any regular season Kernels home game, based on availability.
Each participant should bring a baseball glove and athletic shoes. They may also bring their own baseball bat, if desired, and the Kernels will also provide bats for the camp.
The camp fee is $100 per person and may be done on-line at www.kernels.com A registration waiver must be signed by the participant's legal guardian prior to the camp. Registrations will be accepted up to the start of the camp on Thursday at 9:30 am.
