Mancino's Pizza and Grinders is "Stickin' it to Ya!" on Saturday, June 3rd , at Wuerfel Park. Every fan at the game will receive a Beach Bums magnet schedule, courtesy of Mancino's Pizza and Grinders, the official pizza supplier of the Traverse City Beach Bums.
The start time for the first game of the home series against the Gateway Grizzlies is set for 7:05 p.m. Fans who arrive early when the gates open at 5:05 p.m. Will be able to watch batting practice and hit the concession stands early for some great Mancino's pizza and cinnamon-nuggets before the crowds arrive.
Game two of the homestand is an early game on Sunday with the first pitch set for 6:05 p.m. The first 1,000 fans to the game will receive a Beach Bums autograph book and will have the opportunity to meet their favorite players after the game.
The series concludes Monday, June 5th , at 7:05 p.m. With the Beach Bums Seat Cushion giveaway for the first 1,000 fans. Monday is the first of sixteen Reading Club Nights at Wuerfel Park and will honor the super readers from neighboring Blair Elementary School.
The Traverse City Beach Bums are an independent minor league baseball team. The Beach Bums are a member of the Frontier League, which consists of teams across the Midwest. The Traverse City Beach Bums will begin play at Wuerfel Park spring of 2006 and will play 48 home games at their brand new stadium in Blair Township.
