Action-Packed Homestand Starts Friday at Clear Channel Stadium

(LANCASTER, CA) - The JetHawks return home for a six-game homestand beginning Friday. The weekend series against the Storm also marks the JetHawks Endless Summer of Baseball Kickoff Celebration.
Friday night will feature a post-game Beach Boys video concert presented by Rexhall, followed by a fireworks spectacular presented by D.R. Horton, KTPI FM 103.1, and AV Press. The game begins at 6:30. As always, Fridays also give families an opportunity to purchase an Ameci's Pizza Friday Family Fun Pack of four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, one program and two Fun Zone credits for $25.
Saturday evening the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free JetHawks beach towel presented by Wal-Mart, Jeffries & Associates, 105.5 FM Oasis, and AV Press. The first pitch will be at 5:00.
The JetHawks' first-ever "Salute to the Commute" will take place Sunday afternoon, presented by Pannon Homes, Desert Christian Schools, Petro-Lock and Fox Sports 610. The 2:00 PM game is designed to provide an afternoon of relief for the tens of thousands of Antelope Valley residents who drive long distances to work each day. The game will feature several contests related to car travel, as well as great, useful prizes. Contests include the Travel Mug Beauty Contest, Longest Commute, and Best Spilled Coffee Story Recital. Among the prizes are gas certificates, oil changes, day care, Metro Link passes, car washes, and books-on-tape. To ease the expense of high gas costs, Reserved Section tickets will be priced at the average price of a gallon of gas in California, just $3.25.
Popular weekday promotions return with an "Office Olympics Monday" as the JetHawks wrap up their four-game set against the Storm. The JetHawks wrap up the homestand by meeting the Bakersfield Blaze on "Tumbleweed Tuesday" and "Weenie Wednesday". Game times during the week are 6:30 PM.
