Idaho Stampede News Release
BOISE, Idaho (March 14, 2006) - The Idaho Stampede is inviting Idaho Steelheads fans to join them Tuesday, March 21 for its first round CBA playoff game against the Gary Steelheads at Qwest Arena. Fans can exchange their used Steelheads hockey ticket stubs from Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday's games against Stockton and receive a half-price ticket to the Stampede's Tuesday night game.
"Qwest Arena will host the highest level of hockey and hoop in the same week and we want to give sports enthusiasts a chance to experience both worlds," said Stampede President and General Manager, John Brunelle. "The Stampede organization has been successful with this promotion in the past and we hope to make it even bigger this time around."
Game time is 7:10 PM at Qwest Arena. Steelheads fans may exchange their ticket stubs at the Qwest Arena Box Office.
This is the third of three first round playoff games for the Stampede. They will travel to Rockford and Albany and then return home to finish off the first round of the playoffs. There are a total of six teams in this year's playoff structure. The finals will be completely determined by the amount of quarter points earned in the first round of the playoffs. The two teams that acquire the most quarter points in the first round will advance to the best of three CBA Championship series.
