
Steelheads Sign 2020 Draft Pick Dylan Gordon

MISSISSAUGA, ON - Steelheads General Manager and Head Coach, James Richmond announced Thursday that 2020 seventh round pick, Dylan Gordon has signed a Standard Player Agreement with the hockey club.
The Troy, Michigan native was originally selected by the Mississauga Steelheads in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection in the seventh round at 127th overall. In the 2019-20 season, prior to being drafted, Gordon recorded 55 points (14 goals, 41 assists) in 60 games with Detroit Honeybaked 15U. Most recently the 5'9", 166-pound defenceman suited up for the Detroit Honeybaked 16U in the 2020-21 season and registered 19 points (6 goals, 13 assists) in 35 games.
Steelheads GM and Head Coach, James Richmond commented on today's signing, " We are pleased to add Dylan to our defensive core. He plays hard every shift and has a strong hockey IQ. Dylan will grow into a solid OHL player, and we look forward to seeing him in the blue and white very soon."
The Steelheads would like to welcome Dylan and his family to Mississauga.
