Steelheads Announce 2008-09 Preseason Games

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads Hockey Club announced today it will play two preseason games at McCall's Manchester Ice and Events Centre on Friday, Oct. 10 and Saturday, Oct. 11, against the ECHL's only Canadian team, the Victoria Salmon Kings.

Players invited to Idaho's training camp will officially report to Boise on Saturday, Oct. 4 for physicals and fitness testings, then travel to McCall on Monday, Oct. 6 to begin a week of practice. Following the two preseason games, the Steelheads return home to Qwest Arena where final roster cuts will be made and practice will continue leading up to the home opener on Saturday, Oct. 18.

Tickets for the two preseason games can be purchased starting Monday, Aug. 11 by calling 208.634.3570 or by visiting the 650-seat Manchester Centre. Prices are $13 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under, and children under three years of age get in free. Both games will start at 7:10 p.m.
