July 7, 2015 - ECHL (ECHL)
Idaho Steelheads News Release
Boise, ID (7/7/2015) - Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Tuesday that the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Chase Grant.
Grant, 25, is turning pro after wrapping up his college career at Minnesota State. The MSU program has produced several successful former Steelheads, including Kael Mouillierat, Geoff Irwin, Tyler Elbrecht and Chad Brownlee, through the years. Grant served as captain during his senior season with the Mavericks and netted 31 goals over his college career. He also finished his college career with a plus/minus rating of plus-25.
Grant is the second player to be officially added to Ralph's training-camp roster, joining defenseman Jake Rutt.
The Steelheads open the regular season on Friday, October 16, at home against the Rapid City Rush. It is the first of 36 home games for the team, each of which will be played at CenturyLink Arena.
Season tickets are on sale now with full-season packages starting as low as $275 per seat for all 36 home games. Partial-season packages are also available. Contact the Idaho Steelheads at 208-383-0080 for more information or log on to www.idahosteelheads.com.
