Lehigh Valley Steelhawks News Release
Bethlehem, PA: In release made today, the league office of the Indoor Football League announced that Lehigh Valley Steelhawks Linebacker Adrian McLeod was selected as the Week Fifteen VidSwap.com Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the team's third victory in a row over the 2010 Defending Atlantic Division Champion Richmond Revolution.
McLeod becomes the second Steelhawks player this season to be awarded for his on field performance this season. The first came from Defensive Tackle Chris Medina in Week Three. The Revolution had no answer for a Steelhawks rush that accounted for nine sacks on the evening. McLeod was all over the field recording nine unassisted tackles, four assisted tackles, three sacks, and a safety on the evening. Look for McLeod to once again be a force in the middle as they take on the same Green Bay Blizzard team who released him earlier this season. Fans interested in watching the game can log onto www.b2livetv.com and stream the game live. Game time is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. EST.
The league also announced that Seattle Timberwolves Quarterback Charles McCullum and Sioux Falls Storm Kicker Parker Douglass were selected as the Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week respectively.
