Steelhawks Fly Down to the Snake Pit

Lehigh Valley Steelhawks News Release
Allentown, PA: The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks head down to Greensboro, North Carolina this weekend in search of their first win as they battle the Carolina Cobras. Kickoff is slated for 7:00pm this Saturday night. Fans will be able to stream the game via YouTube.
The Steelhawks (0-3) are winless heading into this week five matchup. After losing both quarterbacks to injuries during the last game, Lehigh Valley heads into this week's contest with someone new under center. The team also has a new skipper after Head Coach Bob Kohler resigned earlier this week. James Parham will be at the helm as the Interim Head Coach. Offensively, the team will look to veteran wide out Brandon Renford Sr. (two tds last week) to provide leadership.
Carolina may be a new franchise, but they are led by a core group of arena veterans and have a proven head coach in Billy Back. QB Charles McCullum leads the league in total offensive yards (617) and touchdowns (17). His favorite target is WR Tyrone Laughinghouse (26 catches for 331 yds, 6 tds), who is among the league leaders in most categories. Veteran receiver Philip Barnett is a danger in the red-zone as he has five touchdowns on only 85 yards receiving.
The Steelhawks offensive and defensive lineman will be key this week - offensively protecting the pocket, and defensively getting pressure on the Quarterback.
The Steelhawks are on the road next week as well, this time in Jacksonville, before returning to the Nest on Sunday, May 20th at 6:00pm against the Columbus Lions on Embassy Bank Field inside the PPL Center.
Single game tickets, three game packs and 2018 season ticket flex packages are on sale now! Season ticket flex plans start as low as $40. Call 610-224-4625 to reserve your seats. All Steelhawks games are played on Embassy Bank Field inside the PPL Center.
