GENEVA, ILLINOIS - March Madness is back, and the Chicago Steel, 2017 USHL Clark Cup Champions, have a slam-dunk offer for you! The Steel announced Tuesday that their popular March Madness ticket promotion has returned, offering Steel fans complimentary tickets for the remainder of the current season, including potential playoff home games, when signing up for a new 2018-2019 Steel Season Ticket Plan (Full Season or Mini-Plan). Depending on the package purchased, fans can also receive a suite to an upcoming game, Rusty Bobblehead Doll or Youth Replica Jersey as an additional thank you for joining in on the Madness!
Steel fans who purchase a new Full Season Ticket Plan, starting at just $8 per game, will receive all remaining 2017-2018 regular season and potential playoff home games for free (up to a $360 value) and choice of a Rusty Bobblehead Doll or Youth Replica Jersey.
Full season ticket holders receive a variety of benefits including, but not limited to, discounted pricing, discount on Steel merchandise, guaranteed giveaway item on all giveaway nights, exclusive team events, flexible payment plans and a raincheck program for unused tickets.
New Mini-Plan Holders (five or more games) receive a ticket for up to two free games in 2017-2018 regular season, the first playoff home game and choice of a Rusty Bobblehead Doll or Youth Replica Jersey.
Existing Full Season Ticket Holders who renew for the 2018-2019 season will receive additional seats for all remaining 2017-2018 regular season and playoff home games equal to the same number of seats in their existing package (playoff portion only if signing up for Pay As We Play program), as well as an early bird renewal gift - a Suite for 15 at a remaining 2017-2018 regular season home game, potential playoff home game, or October/November 2018 home game.
Full Season Ticket Plans can be secured with a $100 deposit per ticket, or $45 for a Mini-Plan. Fans interested in participating in the special March Madness promotion should call the Steel at 855-51-STEEL.
2018-2019 will mark the Steel's 19th season in the United States Hockey League. Steel games offer family-friendly entertainment, special promotional nights, in-game fan contests, state-of-the-art production including videoboard and light show, meet and greet opportunities with future college and pro hockey stars, giveaways on select nights, complimentary parking and Wi-Fi service, and much more.
March 2-4 marks the only three-home-game weekend for the Steel this season. Friday, March 2 is Innovation on Ice: A Power Play for Geneva Schools presented by FONA International as the Steel take on the Omaha Lancers at 7:05 p.m. The Steel will be wearing special Geneva Vikings jerseys to be auctioned off during the game to benefit the Geneva Academic Foundation. It's a Meijer Kids Day - kids 12 and under can receive an Attack Preferred ticket, popcorn, Steel light-up wand and post-game autographs, all for just $10.
Saturday is College Night against Sioux Falls and features a $10 ticket offer for college students with a valid ID. The Steel then close out a season-long seven-game homestand with A Day for the Trolls against Youngstown on a Steel Family Sunday. Sunday's 3:05 p.m. game features a post-game Skate with the Steel, as well as the Steel Family Pack offer - purchase four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas (or waters) and four chuck-a-pucks starting at just $48. The package must be purchased in advance and is not available on the day of the game.
