Steel Fall in Weekend Opener against Fargo

The Chicago Steel lost to the Fargo Force 8-0 Friday night at Scheels Arena...The Force led 3-0 after the first two periods, but a five-minute power play opened the door for Fargo, resulting in three goals during the man advantage and five total in the third period...It was the first time this season the Steel did not score a goal...Chicago could not convert on its only power play of the night...The Force scored on all three of its advantages in the win.

Defenseman Chris Able skated in his 100th career USHL game

Chicago goaltender Christian Manz made 43 saves in defeat

Fargo recorded 51 shots on goal, tied for the most shots allowed by the Steel this season

The eight goals were the most allowed by the Steel since they allowed eight against the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Jan. 7, 2023 at home last season
