Along the way Edenton had six All-Star selections from its 2011 squad, as well as its head coach Dirk Kinney, who was chosen to lead the National side for the game played in Fayetteville. Joshua Branstetter, Brooks Fiala, Brian Blasik, Joey Wendle, Jordan Egan, and Ryan Brenner were the Steamers 2011 All-Star player representatives.
