Statement from the AppleSox on COVID-19

As our country battles this national crisis, we are aware of the implications that COVID-19 has on the AppleSox' 2020 season. We are consulting with the West Coast League and will continue to do so during the season for guidance and continuity between all teams in the West Coast League.
We will be monitoring the situation at hand on a regular basis in the months leading up to the season and will comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations set forth. Our main concern is for the health and safety of our players, employees and fans. Additionally, we will undertake precautions recommended by public health experts.
As of right now, our Opening Day is still scheduled for June 4 at Paul Thomas Senior Stadium. We thank you for your patience and support during this uncertain time. We are excited to see our fans, players and employees at the ballpark for the 21st season of AppleSox Baseball!
