Start Time for Saturday Falcons' Game Changed to 4:05 p.m.

Springfield, Mass. â The Springfield Falcons, American Hockey League affiliate of the Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning, today announced that the start time for the club's game versus the Manchester Monarchs at the Springfield Civic Center this Saturday has been changed to 4:05 p.m. The change in game time will allow area sports fans to attend the Falcons' game and also be able to see the Boston Red Sox in Game 6 of the World Series on Saturday.
Last week, the Falcons rescheduled the start time for their Oct. 23 home opener to avoid conflict with the first game of the World Series.
"The vast majority of feedback from fans we received after moving up the start time of last Saturday's game was extremely positive, so it made sense to do it again" said Falcons president and general manager Bruce Landon. "We decided to make the change now, rather than wait to see if the World Series was going to go to a Game 6 in order to give people more time to plan."
"This World Series is exciting for all of New England and our whole staff is rooting for the Red Sox to win it."
Ticket holders who cannot attend the game due to the earlier start time will be able to exchange their tickets to Saturday's game for another regular season game. Individual ticket and season-ticket holders can exchange their tickets through the Springfield Civic Center box office. Fans who purchased tickets at a group discount can exchange their tickets through the Falcons' team office.
Saturday's game was originally scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
