Stars Learn Six Home Dates

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars General Manager John Olver announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) office in Springfield, Massachusetts, has guaranteed the Iowa Stars six prime home playing dates at Wells Fargo Arena for the 2007-2008 season.
The Iowa Stars have learned that they will definitely host games on Friday, October 12th, Friday, November 30th, Wednesday, December 26th, Monday, December 31st, Saturday, January 19th and Friday, January 25th. Opponents and game times have yet to be determined. The AHL's complete 2007-2008 schedule, along with Iowa's remaining 34 home dates and 40 road dates, will be announced in the coming months.
The Stars will announce the date for their 2007-2008 Home Opener in the weeks following the AHL Summer Meetings in late June.
Season ticket packages are on sale now at the Stars office, located at 833 5th Avenue in Downtown Des Moines and group tickets are available for those six home dates. For more information, please contact an Iowa Stars ticket representative at 515-23-STARS.
