Stars drop thriller to Jam

Los Angeles, CA. The Los Angeles Stars were handed their 4th loss of the year and 3rd loss in a row to the defending ABA Champion Los Angeles Jam 129-126 in an action-packed close game. The Stars were led by former NBA All-Star Cedric Ceballos who finished with 29 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists. He also showed signs of the Old NBA Dunk Champion when a flushed down a two-handed dunk over a host of Jam players. The Stars were led by Darwin Carter's 28 points and 9 assists, Tyron Merriweather's 17 points and Rudy Williams 12 points and 10 rebounds.

The Jam were led by guards Ben Adams and Ramel Curry who scored 25 points each, Felipe Lopez 24 points and Maurice Spillers 22 points. The Stars drop to 4-4 in the Red Division and the Jam move to 6-2. Up next for the Stars will be a back-to-back double header in Portland vs the Reign this Saturday and Sunday. The Stars will then come home and play the Red Division leading Utah Snowbears and head coach Ike Austin, Thursday, December 23rd (7PM) and the Fresno Heatwave, Friday December 24th (7PM) and Sunday, December 26th (5PM). The games will be played at Granada Hills Charter High School in Granada Hills, CA.
