
Tycoons add Oliver Miller to roster

Fort Worth, TX. The ABA Texas Tycoons professional basketball team signed former NBA player Oliver Miller to a one-year contract on Wednesday. Miller, a 6'9" center, played for four years at the University of Arkansas from 1988-1992. The Phoenix Suns drafted Miller as the 22nd overall pick in the 1992 draft. After playing two years with the Suns, he signed a free-agent contract with the Detroit Pistons. Miller played for four different NBA teams from 1992-2000 including the Mavericks during the 1996-1997 season.
Miller signed a free-agent contract last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves and played 48 games with them and helped lead them to their first appearance in the NBA Conference Finals. He averaged 10.5 minutes a game and a 53% field goal percentage.
The Tycoons are currently 6-1. Miller will make his first appearance in a Tycoons uniform Thu, Dec 16 against the Calgary Drillers. Tip-off is at 715PM at W.G.
