Huntsville Stars News Release
The Stars dropped game 2 of 5 to the Jacksonville Suns. Starter Dan Merklinger went 4.0 innings, giving up 4 runs (all earned) on 7 hits. He walked 2 and struck out 3.
Reliever Lucas Luetge took the loss, going 1.0 inning, giving up 1 run (earned) on 2 hits. Catcher Jonathan Lucroy went 1-for-4 with 2 RBI, a double and 1 strikeout. Steffan Wilson and Matt Cline both went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
The Stars take on the Suns for game 3 tomorrow.
