
Stars Continue Road Trip with Stop in St.Louis

St. Charles, MO -The Tacoma Stars (2-3) continue their stretch of six consecutive road games this evening at the Family Arena when they square off with the St. Louis Ambush (1-3).
This is the only meeting between the teams this season and the first matchup since the Stars scored a 9-5 win at home on February 12, 2017. Tacoma is 3-1 all time against the Ambush including a 1-1 record at the Family Arena.
St. Louis comes into this match off a win last time out against Kansas City after dropping their first three matches to start the season. They are led offensively by Tony Wall's six points (4G-2A). Duduca Carvalho (2G-2A) and Felipe Silva (1G-2A) are the only other Ambush players with more than two points through their first four games. The Ambush netminder, Paulo Nascimento, enters the game with a 1-3 record to go with his 6.02 GAA and .711 save percentage.
The Stars are paced offensively by Nick Perera and his 13 points (7G-6A) which is currently good for second in the MASL in scoring. Mike Ramos (8G-0A) and Alex Caceres (3G-4A) round out Tacoma's leading scorers.
Danny Waltman brings a 2-3 record, 6.23 GAA, and .656 save percentage into goal for the Stars. The Stars are 1-2 on the road this season including two straight losses in Ontario and San Diego to begin the six game stretch. They close out 2019 tomorrow night in Kansas City.
