
Stars Acquire Forward Randy Hernandez from Muskegon

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars have acquired forward Randy Hernandez from the Muskegon Lumberjacks in exchange for future considerations, the team announced this morning.
Hernandez, 19, played 45 games for the Sioux City Musketeers during the 2017-18 season, posting three goals and seven assists for 10 points with 12 penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 185-pound forward played for two seasons with the U.S. National Team Development Program (NTDP) from 2015-17 prior to being drafted by the Musketeers in the 2017 USHL Phase II Draft. In 109 career USHL games, the Miami, Fla., product totaled five goals and 13 assists for 18 points with 28 penalty minutes and one power play goal.
Hernandez will report to the Stars this week prior to their final two preseason games this Friday and Saturday at The Ice Box.
