Stapleton to Coach Canadian Under-18's

Hockey Canada announced today that Erie Otters Associate Coach Mike Stapleton has been selected as an Assistant Coach for Team Canada's entry into the 2007 World Under-18 Championship, which runs April 11-22 in Tampere and Rauma, Finland.

Former Chicago Blackhawks Head Coach Trent Yawney will serve as Head Coach for the Canadian squad while Stapleton, a former member of Canada's National Men's Team, and Jeff Truitt, head coach of the WHL's Kelowna Rockets, will serve as assistants.

Stapleton played parts of 16 seasons in the NHL and was also was a member of Canada's National Men's Team from 1986-87, helping Canada win the Spengler Cup that year. Read More

2007-08 Erie Otters Season Tickets are now on sale at the same price as 2006-07.

Season Ticket Holders who renew their packages in full prior to April 15th will entered into a drawing to win $100 Erie Otters Merchandise Gift Certificate, an autographed team stick or two free tickets to the Otters Champions for Education Dinner. Drawing will be made on April 18th. In addition, the first 50 renewals from 2006-07 Season Ticket Holders will be invited to an exclusive Reception to honor the No. 1 selection in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection (details to be announced).
