
Patrick Kane Named OHL Player of the Week

Toronto - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that London Knights' forward Patrick Kane is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending March 18, 2007. Kane scored five goals and added six assists for eleven points in two games.
Friday night, the Buffalo, New York native scored four goals and added three assists and was named first star of the game in a 9-3 victory on home ice against the Erie Otters. The next night, Kane scored a goal and recorded three assists and was named the game's first star in a 6-4 road victory to sweep the home and home series with Erie. The win was the Knight's 50th win of the regular season as they clinched the top spot in the Ontario Hockey League.
Kane concluded the regular season winning the Canadian Hockey League and the Ontario Hockey League scoring titles recording 62 goals and 83 assists for 145 points in 58 games. Kane is a highly rated Top Prospect for the upcoming National Hockey League Draft in June.
