Stanley Cup to be at Copps Coliseum on Tuesday

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs and Hamilton Entertainment and Convention Facilities Incorporated (HECFI) announced today that Copps Coliseum, celebrating its 25th Anniversary, will proudly host the viewing of the National Hockey League's Stanley Cup on Tuesday, March 29th prior to the 'Dogs 7:00 p.m. home game against the Abbotsford Heat. Fans that have a ticket to Tuesday's game will be able to view and take pictures with the Stanley Cup from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Fans must have a ticket to Tuesday's game in order to access this special showing.

The oldest trophy in North American professional sports, the Stanley Cup is awarded annually to the NHL's playoff champions following the conclusion of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Montreal Canadiens, NHL affiliate of the Bulldogs, have hoisted the Stanley Cup a league-leading 24 times including a record five consecutive times from 1956-1960.

The Bulldogs will travel to Rockford for an 8:05 p.m. game against the IceHogs on Friday, March 25th. All regular season Hamilton Bulldogs broadcasts on AM 820 CHAM will begin with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
