
Stamps Add Botterill To Practice Roster

Calgary Stampeders head coach and general manager John Hufnagel is pleased to announce that non-import linebacker Michael Botterill has been added to the practice roster.
Botterill is a 28-year-old Belleville, Ont., native who has six seasons and 100 games of CFL experience with Montreal, Edmonton and Hamilton. He appeared in the 2003 and 2005 Grey Cup games as a member of the Alouettes.
He was a sixth-round pick out of McMaster University by Montreal in the 2003 Canadian Football League draft. The Marauders won three Ontario conference championships while Botterill was with the team.
Hufnagel also announced that non-import running back Gerald Commissiong has been released from the practice roster.
