
Taylor tops on special teams

Alouettes' kick returner Larry Taylor has been named the CFL's Special Teams Player of the Week, for Week 18 - his third time winning this honour in 2009.
Larry Taylor - Special Teams Player of the Week Taylor scored on a 115-yard missed field goal return - the third longest in team history - in the Alouettes' 48-13 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last Sunday at Percival Molson Stadium. He finished the game with 335 combined yards, including 147 on five kickoff returns and 73 on seven punt returns.
He currently leads the CFL with 788 yards and two touchdowns on punt returns and is second with 2,029 combined yards.
The Alouettes will close out their regular season against the Argonauts at Toronto's Rogers Centre next Saturday at 1 p.m. (RDS HD, TSN HD, CKAC SPORTS, CJAD 800).
