
Stampeders' Fanfest Event to be Held Saturday

The Calgary Stampeders' popular Fanfest event will be held on Saturday prior to the Red and White's Canadian Football League matchup with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
For a two-hour period - 3 to 5 p.m. - before kickoff, fans can enjoy themselves at the Gridiron Gardens on the practice field located immediately south of McMahon Stadium.
Fanfest is free and a game ticket is not required to attend. The event was originally slated for May 22 prior to the Stamps' pre-season game against the Edmonton Elks but was rescheduled for precautionary reasons because of concerns about air quality related to wildfire smoke.
Attractions at Fanfest include:
- Early arrivals to the Gridiron Gardens will receive the first poster of the 2023 Calgary Stampeders Position Group Poster Series. Saturday's game will feature the receivers, with each of the remaining Stampeders regular-season home games featuring a different limited-edition position-group poster
- Pose for a photo with the Grey Cup trophy
- The Mayfair Combine Zone
- Giant inflatables
- Toddler Zone
- Face painting
- Roughnecks and Wranglers shooter tutor
- Stamps Store feature game-day specials
- Interactive stations including CGY Fam Club and photo booth
- Stampeder Outriders and Hype Team
- Ralph the Dog and other mascot friends
- Stamps alumni autographs
- Live DJ music
- BBQ station
- And more
Tickets for Saturday's game - kickoff is at 5 p.m. - are still available at Stampeders.com and start at $20.
