Stampede on the road this weekend; home opener next Friday!

The Sioux Falls Stampede (1-0-0) are in Indianapolis tonight to take on the Indiana Ice (0-1-0) at 6:05 PM. Fans can listen to the game live on KELO News Talk 1320-AM, 107.9-FM and online at www.kelo.com . In addition, fans can watch the game live through Fasthockey .

Tomorrow night, Sioux Falls heads to Cedar Rapids to take on the RoughRiders at 7:05 PM.Fans can also hear that game live on KELO.

Grand Slam Celebration tomorrow!

Make plans to be at the Grand Slam Celebration at the Birdcage, tomorrow (Saturday) from 11 AM to 2 PM. For just $5, you get a hot dog or burger, three swings on the field inside the batting cage, a chance to take a photo by the field plus a chance to win save up to 60% off Canaries merchandise!

Home Opener set for October 4

Make plans now to see the Herd in action at the Sioux Falls Arena for the home opener, next Friday, October 4th at 7:05 PM versus the Omaha Lancers.

Tickets are available at the Sioux Falls Arena box office or any Ticketmaster location. The Stampede ranked in the top three in USHL attendance last season and we need you back to pack the arena on opening night!

Come early, the first 1,500 fans receive a FREE Stampede magnetic schedule! It is the official kick off to the 15th anniversary season.

Tailgate Party Friday at the Birdcage!

The Stampede will be hosting a tailgate party from 4-7 PM inside the Birdcage. Bring your own drink and be one of the first 200 people to the party and get a FREE hamburger or hot dog! There will be live music, games on the field and fun for all ages!

There is no cost to attend, bring your friends and tailgate before the Stampede's home opener!

Select-A-Seat & Hockey 101 Night this Wednesday!

Get a sneak peak of this year's Stampede squad at a special Select-A-Seat and Hockey 101 night at the Sioux Falls Arena on Wednesday, October 2nd. It will take place from 4:30-7 PM on the Sioux Falls Arena ice. Fans can watch practice from the seats and then a Hockey 101 demonstration featuring players and coaches. If your new to the game or just need a refresher before the season starts, you won't want to miss it!

Fans will also get a chance to see the best available seats open for the upcoming season and learn how they can become a season ticket holder.

Don't miss any of the action this season!

No matter your schedule, the Stampede have a ticket plan for you. Season tickets start as low as $180 a seat and that guarantees you the same seat for all 30 home games plus a 15% discount on Stampede merchandise and special invites to player only parties. In addition, season ticket holders will have priority seating next year in the new Events Center.

New this year is the Stampede "Mini Plans." 10 game packages start as low as $8 per-game. Fans can choose any increment of games between 10 and 20 and get the same seat for all those games! For more information, call the Stampede office at 336-6060.
