BOISE, Idaho, September 12, 2012 - The Idaho Stampede will play the Reno Bighorns in a preseason exhibition game in Winnemucca, Nev., on November 19, the club announced today.

The teams will face off at Albert Lowry High School, 5375 Kluncy Canyon Road at 8 p.m. (MST).

"Winnemucca will be a great destination for this season's preseason game and will only help expose our franchise and league to more basketball fans," said Stampede President and General Manager Steve Brandes. "Our new Head Coach Michael Peck is excited to get his first taste of NBA D-League basketball."

Albert Lowry High School varsity boys' basketball coach Chad Peters has worked with the Bighorns and Winnemucca Century Club to bring the game to Winnemucca.

"We are very thankful that the Bighorns and the Stampede are willing to share this experience with us," Peters said. "High school basketball is a big deal in Northern Nevada and we love the idea of having professional basketball showcased out here for all the rural kids to experience as well. Basketball has a strong history out here and we are very happy to be adding something like this to it.

The Stampede plays its first game of the 2012-13 on the road against the Los Angeles D-Fenders on November 28. The team's first home game is December 7 against the defending D-League champion Austin Toros.
