Teddy Bear Toss set for this Saturday night

The Stampede (15-5-2) continue their four-game homestand this Saturday night when they host Sioux City at 7:05 PM. It is the Herd's annual Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are encouraged to bring NEW stuffed animals to the game and toss them onto the ice after the Stampede's first goal against Sioux City.

Be sure to write your section, row and seat number on the tag for a chance to win one of four fabulous prizes, including:

Knutson sets franchise record with 4 goals in victory over U.S. Development Program

Stampede forward Zeb Kntuson set a franchise record when he recorded four goals in a 10-4 victory over the U.S. Under-17 National Team Development Program. He became the first player in franchise history to do it twice in one season. Knutson also tallied four goals in a victory at Indiana back in late September.

Thomas Vanek and Robbie Vrolyk are the only other Stampede players to ever record four goals in one game.

The Sioux Falls native now ranks second in the league with 17 goals and fourth in overall points with 28.

Stampede push win streak to six games

The Stampede extended their winning streak to six games with three more wins last week. On Wednesday, the Herd blanked Lincoln 3-0 at the Ice Box before returning home where they skated to a 3-0 victory over Dubuque on Friday and a 10-4 win over the U.S. Under-17 Development Program on Saturday.

Stampede lead league in attendance through first 10 games

The Stampede would like to thank their fans once again for their outstanding support through their first 10 home games of the season!

The Herd are averaging a league best 4,288 fans per-game at the Sioux Falls Arena this season. The Stampede have three home games in December and seven in January.

Holiday season ticket packages available

The Stampede announced last week special holiday season ticket packages. Fans can get the same seat for all remaining home games for as low as $115 a seat! As a season ticket holder you will receive 15% off Stampede merchandise, special invites to season ticket holder parties and priority seating in the new events center.

Christmas with the Stampede next Saturday

The Stampede will be celebrating Christmas a couple weeks early on Friday, December 13th when they host the Lincoln Stars at 7:05 PM. The whole game will have a holiday feel to it and Santa Claus himself is scheduled to make an appearance! Fans will have the opportunity to get their photo taken with Santa during the game!
