Stampede Spirit Dance Team Tryouts Announced

BOISE, Idaho, June 8, 2011 - The Idaho Stampede will hold Stampede Spirit Dance Team tryouts on August 5 and 6 at Studio C Academy of Dance and at the offices of the Idaho Stampede, the organization announced today. Applicants are required to be at least 18 years old at the time of auditions and must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
The first round of tryouts is on Friday, August 5, at Studio C Academy of Dance, 500 S. Fitness Place, Eagle, ID 83616, with registration beginning at 5:30 p.m. Dancers will learn a short routine and be taught basic technique. Cuts will not be made after the first round.
The second round of tryouts is Saturday, August 6, again at Studio C, beginning at 9:30 a.m. In the second round, dancers will perform the routine learned the night before for a panel of judges. The third round, later that day, will be face-to-face interviews at the Idaho Stampede front offices at 5 p.m. in Qwest Arena Suite #100, 233. S. Capitol, Boise, ID 83702.
Anyone interested in becoming a Stampede Spirit Dance Team member can complete an application. Applications need to be mailed to Idaho Stampede Spirit Auditions, 356 W. Hale #106, Boise, ID 83706 and include a $10 fee (check payable to Idaho Stampede Dance Team), current photograph and resume.
Dancers are asked to check the application form to find out further requirements.
