Stampede Spirit Dance Team Tryout Dates Announced

BOISE, Idaho, August 10, 2012 - The Idaho Stampede will hold Stampede Spirit Dance Team tryouts on August 24 and 25 at Studio C Academy of Dance and at the offices of the Idaho Stampede on August 27, the organization announced today. Applicants are required to be at least 18 years old at the time of auditions and must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
The first round of tryouts is on Friday, August 24, at Studio C Academy of Dance, 500 S. Fitness Place, Eagle, ID 83616, with registration beginning at 5:30 p.m. Dancers will learn a short routine and be taught basic technique. Cuts will not be made after the first round.
The second round of tryouts is Saturday, August 25, again at Studio C, beginning at 9:30 a.m. In the second round, dancers will perform the routine learned the night before for a panel of judges. The third round, on August 27, will be face-to-face interviews at the Idaho Stampede front offices at 5 p.m. in CenturyLink Arena Suite #100, 233. S. Capitol, Boise, ID 83702.
Anyone interested in becoming a Stampede Spirit Dance Team member can complete an application at: http://www.nba.com/dleague/idaho/photos/Stampede_Spirit_Application.pdf. Applications need to be mailed to Idaho Stampede Spirit Auditions, 356 W. Hale #106, Boise, ID 83706 and include a $10 fee (check payable to Idaho Stampede Dance Team), current photograph and resume.
Dancers are asked to check the application form to find out further requirements.
