Idaho Stampede News Release

BOISE, Idaho, May 26, 2011 - The Idaho Stampede won three NBA Development League business awards for work done during the 2010-11 season, the organization and league announced today.

The Stampede had higher than a 75 percent season ticket renewal rate, partnered with a wide array of sponsors and engaged with the Treasure Valley area more than ever through its youth education platforms and the Idaho Stampede Community Foundation. Stampede coaches, players, front office personnel, AAA Rumble and the Stampede Spirit Dance Team made more than 75 community appearances in a time period of just 134 days.

"The front office staff of the Idaho Stampede is a hard-working group and our season doesn't end when the ball stops rolling," Idaho Stampede President and General Manager Steve Brandes said. "We are constantly working to improve the financial viability and community outreach of this organization. The awards from the league are a true testament to the dedication we have to the franchise and the community."

Idaho was one of just three NBA Development League teams to win all three of these business awards, as determined by the league.

"The Idaho Stampede continues to be one of the premier teams in the NBA D-League," Idaho Stampede Managing Investor Bill Ilett said. "It is easy to understand why the Idaho Stampede is the third oldest minor league basketball franchise in North America."
