
Stampede Host Sioux City Wednesday Night

The Stampede will put their two-game winning streak on the line this Wednesday night when they host I-29 rival, Sioux City at the Sioux Falls Arena. The Herd will then hit the road for games in Cedar Rapids and Green Bay this Friday and Saturday night. Game times are 7:05 PM all three night's.
The Stampede enter Wednesday's game with an 18-23-3 record and four points ahead of Sioux City for fourth place in the West Division. The Musketeers are 16-23-3 on the season and play at Omaha on Tuesday before facing the Herd. The Stampede are 2-1-0 against Sioux City this season.
On Friday, the Stampede travel to Cedar Rapids to play the Rough Riders for the final time during the regular season. Cedar Rapids has the best record in the league at 28-9-4 and are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games.
On Saturday, the Stampede will play in Green Bay against the Gamblers in a rematch of Saturday's 6-5 win by the Stampede. Green Bay is 27-10-3 on the season and in third place in the East Division. They boast an impressive 14-3-1 record at home this season.
BROADHURST COMMITS TO
NEBRASKA-OMAHA-
The Sioux Falls Stampede announced today that forward Terry Broadhurst has committed to Nebraska-Omaha for the 2009-10 season.
Broadhurst is in his second season with the Stampede and leads the team in goals scored with 20 and is second on the team in total points with 39. His 20 goals rank fifth overall in the USHL. The Orland Park, IL native posted 23 points (7g, 16a) in 56 games with the Stampede last season.
