
Stampede Host Open Player Tryouts in Boise and Denver

BOISE, ID, September 21, 2009 - The Idaho Stampede announced today they will be hosting two open player tryouts for the 2009-10 season in Boise, ID and in Denver, CO.
The first tryout will be held in Denver, Colorado on October 11th at Colorado Christian University, in the Events Center at 8787 W. Alamedo Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80226. Tryouts start promptly at 9:00 am. The second open player tryout is on October 17th and 18th at the Stampede Practice Facility. The tryout will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday the 17th, in the main gym of the Boys & Girls Club at 610 E. 42nd Street, Boise, ID 83714.
Open tryouts offer athletes an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Stampede coaching staff, including new head coach Bob MacKinnon. Players will compete to earn an invitation to the Stampede's official Training Camp in November.
Applicants must be eligible to play in the NBA Development League and may pre-register by submitting the official registration, disclosure, and release forms, along with a $150 fee. The fee increases to $200 on the day of camp. Payments may be made by cash, cashier's check or credit card.

Any questions regarding the camp should be addressed to the Idaho Stampede Basketball Office at 208-573-1418. Players will also have the option to receive hotel discounts both in Denver and Boise during their stay. At the Boise camp, shuttle service will be provided to and from the hotel and gym.
