LOS ANGELES, California, February 22, 2012 - Tony Bobbitt and Marcus Banks each notched 16 points, but the Los Angeles D-Fenders beat the Idaho Stampede 121-102.
Idaho (14-20) could not handle the D-Fenders' offense early, as L.A. scored 64 first half points, shooting 66.7 percent for the first half. Idaho committed 15 turnovers in the first two quarters, which led to 22 L.A. points. On the game, the Stampede had 25 turnovers, which led to 36 points for the home team. Idaho shot 11-of-21 from behind the three-point line (52.4 percent), but had fewer assists than turnovers (21 to 25) and allowed the D-Fenders to shoot 56.8 percent for the game.
Paul Carter had 15 points in just 22 minutes, before fouling out. Mikki Moore added 14 points, while David Bailey had 11 and Devin Green added 10 points and seven rebounds.
Los Angeles (26-10) was led by Devin Ebanks off the bench, who scored 23 points and added nine rebounds. Courtney Fortson had 22 points and 15 assists.
Idaho does not play again until Feb. 29 against the Los Angeles D-Fenders at 7 p.m. at CenturyLink Arena.
