Stampede Acquire Henry Domercant

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Stampede announced today that the team has acquired guard Henry Domercant off waivers. Following the move, Idaho's roster stands at 12 players (not including Utah Jazz assignee Tibor Pleiss).

Domercant (6-4, 200, Eastern Illinois) was selected in the 2003 Continental Basketball Association (CBA) draft by the the Yakima Sun Kings. However, he decided to begin his professional career in Turkey for the 2003-04 season. Domercant has also played for teams in Greece, Italy and Russia. Most recently, he played for JuveCaserta Basket in Italy, appearing in 12 games (three starts) and averaging 10.9 points and 2.9 rebounds in 21.1 minutes of action. Domercant was also a member of the Bosnia National Team in both 2005 and 2011.

The 6-4 guard played four years at Eastern Illinois (1999-03), appearing in 30 games (all starts) and averaging 28.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 33.7 minutes of action.
