In front of a record St. Paul crowd of 8,592, 3B Pat Scalabrini went 2-for-5 with 2 runs scored and 5 RBI, include hitting his 3rd and 4th home runs of the season to aid the Saints to an easy victory over the Pelicans. St. Paul would jump out to an early 4-0 lead through three innings and never would be challenged. 2B Josh Renick and LF Brian Sprout each had two hits and drove in a run to assist in the Saints offense. Saints starter T.J. Stanton picked up his fourth win of the season going six efficient innings allowing three runs, all earned, on seven hits, with five strikeouts. RF Juan Rocha had a good day at the plate for the Pelicans in the losing effort going 2-for-5 with a run scored and 2 RBI, including a home run, his sixth of the season.
