St. Louis CITY SC Completes Transfer of Danish Winger Isak Jensen

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis CITY SC have completed the transfer of Danish winger Isak Jensen, pending ITC and P-1 Visa, the club announced today. Jensen is signed through 2026 with an option for 2027 and will occupy an International spot.

"Isak is a promising young talent, who is quick and exciting to watch," said Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel. "He is a typical winger who loves to take on defenders one-v-one and he has been showing that as a teenager for club and country in Denmark."

Jensen most recently played for SönderjyskE Under-19, a Danish U-19 Youth League team. The 18-year-old winger tallied eight goals in 29 appearances. Of those 29 appearances, he featured at the left wing in 25 games.

"Isak has been on our radar for quite some time," said Head Coach Bradley Carnell. "He certainly has the tools to be a key part of our system and his dynamic play on the wing will be fun to watch."

For country, Jensen has appeared for both the U-18 and U-19 Denmark Youth National team. The Danish winger earned his first two caps for Denmark at the Under-18 level on September 4 and September 7 against U-18 Germany in back-to-back friendlies. Jensen tallied a goal in the second match on September 7.

One year later, Jensen was called up to make his first two of four caps for the Under-19 level. He recorded his first goal for the U-19 in his first appearance just 30 minutes into the match against U-18 Norway. Jensen has tallied one goal and one assist in four games at the U-19 level.
