St. Louis Ambush News Release
Saint Charles, Missouri - The St. Louis Ambush square off with the Milwaukee Wave this Sunday, March 10 at 1:05 p.m. CT at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
Sunday's battle is the sixth and final meeting between the Ambush and Wave this season. Milwaukee prevailed in the first five games. It is the only game this weekend for St. Louis and the second of two games for Milwaukee, who defeated Utica City FC Friday night at home.
St. Louis has lost four in a row and are eliminated from the playoffs, but are looking for a strong finish to what has been a disappointing season that saw the team lose seven games by a single goal. Five of those losses were in overtime. Milwaukee has heated up at the right time. The Wave has won three in a row and four of their last five games. They are all but assured a playoff spot and are vying with Utica and Kansas City for second, third or fourth seed in the postseason.
The next Ambush home game is slated for Sunday, March 17 at 2:05 p.m. CT at The Family Arena when the Kansas City Comets come to town. March 17 is a double-header, with the Ambush 2 hosting the Iowa Raptors in an MASL 2 contest following the Ambush-Wave game. March 17 is also the last chance for fans to see the Ambush at The Family Arena this season as it concludes the home portion of their schedule.
All MASL games are available for viewing via webcast at twitch.tv. Single game and group tickets for the 2023-24 season are now on sale. Call the Ambush office at 636-477-6363 for more information.
