
St. George Swept Again

The Reno Silver Sox Scored 44 runs in three games to sweep the St. George Roadrunners on the road in southern Utah.
After they trailed 7-0 in the fifth inning, the Sox stormed back into the game and would go onto win by a final of 12-11.
Reno starter Matt Scott allowed six runs in three innings of work, but the Sox rallied back, scoring five times in the fifth inning and four in the sixth to storm back into the game.
The final three runs scored in the sixth inning came when 2B Mike Done hit a huge three-run over the right field fence, his first of the season.
CF Victor Hall drove in the go ahead run in the seventh giving Reno a 1-0 lead. Hall also hit his third home run of the year Wednesday, coming in the ninth inning.
Adam Nikolic pitched two innings and earned the win in relief, his first this season. Chris Testa earned his first save.
The three game sweep marked the second time on the year that the Silver Sox have swept the Roadrunners, and they will look to continue the winning ways at Peccole Park this weekennd against the Yuma Scorpians.
