SS Lucius Fox Transferred to Biscuits from A+ Charlotte; IF Peter Maris (Elbow) Placed on 7-Day Disabled List

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Rays announced a couple of moves on Saturday including SS Lucius Fox being transferred to the Biscuits from A+ Charlotte.

Fox, 21, has played in 89 games for the A+ Charlotte Stone Crabs where he hit .282 with two home runs, 30 RBIs, and 23 stolen bases. He heads to Double-A for the first time in his career.

The Rays also announced that Biscuits IF Peter Maris has been placed on the 7-day Disabled List with an elbow injury.

The Biscuits active roster is currently at 25.
