Squadron Announce Summer Slam 2023

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Summer Slam 2023, the official NBA Draft watch party of the Birmingham Squadron, is set for Thursday, June 22 at 6 p.m. at Back Forty Beer Company in Birmingham, the team announced today.

"Summer Slam is going to be a great opportunity for us to spend time with our fans while watching the NBA Draft at an awesome venue," said Squadron general manager Leslie Claybrook. "I can't wait to be at Back Forty with everyone on June 22."

The event will be hosted by Birmingham emcee Aaron Brown and featured guests like Claybrook, Squadron head coach T.J. Saint, play-by-play announcer Blake Gardner and analyst Rick Moody are set to speak as well.

The New Orleans Pelicans own the 14th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft presented by State Farm.

Back Forty Beer Company is located at 3201 First Avenue North in Birmingham. Parking for the event is on-site.
