Spurs Outlast Greensboro in Double OT

CEDAR PARK, Texas (Dec. 2, 2021) - The Austin Spurs defeated the Greensboro Swarm by a final score of 108-105 on Thursday night in double overtime.
Two-way player Joe Wieskamp hit a three for Austin with 5 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game into overtime. A hook shot by two-way player Devontae Cacok sealed the win for the Spurs in the second overtime period.
Cacok notched a double-double with a game-high 24 points and 18 rebounds. Wieskamp finished with 22 points and 6 rebounds.
San Antonio Spurs assignee Josh Primo posted 19 points, 9 assists and 4 rebounds in the team's win.
Vernon Carey Jr. led Greensboro with 22 points. Kai Jones put up a double-double for the Swarm with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

NEXT UP The Austin Spurs will face the Greensboro Swarm in the second of back-to-back games tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 3, at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park at 7:30 p.m. for the team's Season of Giving game benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas.
