Springfield Sliders Ready for Sled Hockey Tourney

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons are pleased to announce the following upcoming events!!

SPRINGFIELD SLIDERS SLED HOCKEY TOURNAMENT THIS WEEKEND!! Assistant Coach Phil Russell continues to coach the Springfield Sliders Hockey team. The team, put together through Shriners Hospital, will be participating in the New England Invitational Sled Hockey Tournament this weekend at Amelia Park in Westfield. Screech, former Falcon Jeremiah McCarthy (coaching), Falcons Vice President Bob Oliver (referee) and Assistant to the GM Carole Appleton (coaching) will all be part of the tournament. The Sliders will be one of 16 teams competing in the tournament. In the adult divisions, members of the 2002 USA Ice Sled Hockey Team Gold Medalists will be participating with various teams. ATTENTION GOLF TOURNAMENT COMMITTEES – Have you ever wanted a Celebrity Golfer at your event? The Springfield Falcons are your answer!! The Falcons have several players that will be living in the area for the summer and would love to be part of your tournament. The Falcons will even help promote your special event.
