Spring Training Begins

(Central Islip, N.Y., April 18, 2011) - For the second consecutive season, 2011 Atlantic League Spring Training camps will be held at each of the circuit's home ballparks. The Spring Training schedule will include two exhibition games against the cross-sound rival Bridgeport Bluefish and two against Long Island semi-pro teams, the Long Island Black Sox and Long Island Storm.
Three games are slated at Bethpage Ballpark (complete schedule below) as the Flock will take on the Bluefish on Saturday, April 23, the Black Sox on Monday, April 25 and the Storm on Wednesday, April 27. General admission tickets will be issued FREE to Ducks season ticket and suite holders and a $5 donation to the QuackerJack Foundation will apply to all other fans. Season ticket holders may gain admission to the ballpark by showing their season ticket holder ID card or other form of identification at the box office. The Ducks will conclude spring training with their annual season ticket meet-and-greet barbeque on Thursday, April 28th, allowing fans to connect with the 2011 team on a one-on-one level.

Individual game tickets for the Ducks 2011 season are on sale now. The home opener takes place on Friday, May 6th.
