
Sports Rally Past Pensacola

Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
Tommy Bryant singled with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Shreveport Sports rallied for four runs to defeat Pensacola 6-5 at Fair Grounds Field Tuesday.
It was the first hit of the series for Bryant, who was 0-8 prior to that at-bat. The Pelicans had scored twice in the top of the ninth to increase their lead to 5-2. Jack Joffrion had tied the game with a two-run double in the ninth before Bryant's game winning hit.
The Sports and Pensacola will close out the three-game series Wednesday at Fair Grounds Field. Game time 7:05 with the broadcast on AM 1130, KWKH.
