
Sports Lose in Extras to El Paso

Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
The Shreveport Sports lost to the El Paso Diablos 8-7 in 12 innings Saturday night at Fair Grounds Field.
El Paso's Bryon Smith got an RBI single in the top of 12th inning for the go-ahead run.
Chris Thompson (1-0) picked up the win for El Paso with 4 1/3 innings of relief. Aaron Cunningham (0-1) took the loss for Shreveport.
Richard Quihuis-Bell was 3-6 batting with 3 RBI for Shreveport. Chad Gambill also finished with 3 hits for the Sports.
The final game of the series will be Sunday at 2:05. The game can be heard on AM 1130 KWKH.
