Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
The Shreveport Sports closed out the home stand before the American Association All-Star break by losing a doubleheader to St. Paul 4-3 and 7-4.
By losing the twin bill, the Sports have now lost three straight and finished the longest home stand of the season by winning only three of ten games. St. Paul won the first game by scoring a run in the top of the seventh and put the second game away early when they scored five runs in the second inning after Shreveport had taken a 2-1 lead.
The Sports will now have three days off for the all-star break and will resume play at St. Joe on Thursday. The next home game for the Sports will be July 27th against Fort Worth.
